I agree with the statement that people take basketball too seriously. Basketball is just a game and we don‘t have to be very disappointed and angry when we lose. People usually hate other teams and sometimes even the nationality If their favorite team don‘t win. In Lithuania this sport is very popular and when „Lietuvos Rytas“ is playing with „Zalgiris“, sometimes fans cause a riots. A few years ago there was an incident in Lithuania, fans were throwing gags at the players. And until now arena bars dont sell bottles with gags. So in my opinion, people don't have take basketball so seriously.

A few years ago there was an incident in Lithuania, fans were throwing bottle gags at the players. Since then it is forbidden to sell gagged bottles in the arenas. So in my opinion, people shouldn't take basketball so seriously.
