PHP Developer duties and responsibilities

• 
   
  
• Develop and maintain secure and stable web-based PHP applications
  
• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
  
• Ensure that advanced principles of security and stability standards are met
  
• Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools
  
• Utilize data services and contribute to increase existing data services APIs
  
• Drive the entire web application development life cycle right from concept to
  
• delivery and post launch support
  
• Refactor, optimize and improve the existing codebase for maintenance and scale
  
• Use test driven development and acceptance tests to ensure delivery of quality
  
• Carry effectively with task progress, evaluations, suggestions, timelines along with
  
• technical and process issues
  
• Document the improvement of the development process, architecture and
  
• guidelines
  
• Coordinate with other developers and keep product owners well informed of the
  
• status of development effort
  
• Be up-to-date of new trends and best practices in web development
  

Requirements

PHP Developer Qualifications:

• 
   
  
• 3+ years of working experience as a PHP Developer
  
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  
• Excellent relational database skills with MySQL
  
• Very good understanding stability and security concepts
  
• Strong knowledge of API development (REST)
  
• Proficient in HTML5, JavaScript (or JS framework), Docker, AWS
  
• Excellent understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  
• Solid understanding of Agile Principles and Methodologies
  

Good to have

• 
   
  
• Experience with Data Analytics Software and Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
  
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or a similar relevant field
  
• Experience with time-series databases and data warehouses
