Villareal can definitely underestimate their opponents and they do it often. I recall when playing Dinamo last year they came with a mixed squad and just played badly and uninspired not giving an effort threw out the game. They had so much confidence in their home advantage that a lost point here or there didn`t matter. And they went a long way after in the competition. I don`t find Odense to be CL material and they were very lucky to draw with Panathinaikos to go threw. Panathinaikos pressed them at home but Odense had the ability to fight back every time and the Panathinaikos defense was just a mess then. Villareal controlled the game vs Odense but forgot to finish from their great chances and then payed for their overconfidence with Zapata`s big blunder. So Odense has definitely some confidence after those matches and might think they have a decent chance here. Utaka, Johansson, Andreasen are great players and they might test Villareal but the pressure Villareal can make at home is just terrific. The quality of passing, agility and finishing of Villareal players is at best in their home games. The audience also gives them a great boost and no team is unbeatable at this ground. We can recall the scores from last years EL matches: vs Porto 3:2, vs Twente 5:1, vs Bayer 2:1, Napoli 2:1, Dinamo 3:0. All high scoring matches with Villareal in main role. And Odense is not known for their defensive approach, they can`t defend like the Italians and the don`t have the players to do so. Last years results confirm that: Stuttgart 5:1, Young Boys 4:2, Getafe 2:1 and this years 3:4 @ Panathinaikos. The only problem for Villareal is no league matches to sharpen their form but maybe some freshness will do them good. Villareal is missing Gonzalo Rodriguez while Odense could miss Kalilou Traore. The hosts need at least 2 goals to go threw but I expect more from both teams.
