Klausen won the Big Deal tounament at Ongame on the 18th of January this year, and experienced to have his accound frozen the day after. Furthermore, bwin had redistributed his prize money, without letting Klausen explain himself. In the time following, there has been a lack of communitcation between Klausen and bwin, and bwin has not presented any evidence proving the Jonas Klausen had cheated.

Bwin then experienced the wrath of a huge number of poker players, media people and other important names in the business, and then decided to investigate the case once more. Bwin then used a little more than two weeks before concluding that 'Yes, Klausen has cheated', but still not presenting any evidence to the public.

It now looks like the case has taken a new direction. The poker magazine Ace has printed this statement from bwin:

"Bwin and Jonas Klausen wish to announce that they have resolved their dispute. The recriminations have been cleared up on both sides, and Jonas Klausen has been reinstated as a member of the Ongame Network poker community and remains a customer at bwin".

Donkr contacted Klausen earlier today, and he cannot confirm any details regariding the agreement with bwin. He can however tell us what he thinks of the deal:

-I heard you have reached some kind of understanding with bwin?

Yeah. Really nice to be done with this thing.

-So what is the outcome?

Bwin made this official statement : "Bwin and Jonas Klausen wish to announce that they have resolved..."

Other than that I can't really say much.

-I see. But i guess you will be getting your money back?

-Can you tell me if you`re pleased with the outcome?

Yeah i`m glad that the case is over now. So I can use my time and energy on something else and more important:)

We are not sure when or if the agreement will be made public, but we are glad to se that the parties seems to have found a solutuion that will work out.
