Stephen Nover's Pick Pack NBA Daily Picks Premium Plays Matchup: Orlando at Milwaukee Time: 8:05 PM EDT (Mon)
Play: Under (197.5 -110) Line Source: BET365 Posted on: April 13, 2009 @ 1:57:27 AM EDT
Orlando is banged-up, unmotivated and its offense is averaging just 88 points in its last five games.
The Magic are locked into the No. 3 seed in the East. This game is meaningless to them, although they would like to regain momentum having lost three of their past four games.
Magic coach Stan Van Gundy is going to hold out Rashard Lewis and Hedo Turkoglu. That's a lot of missing scoring from the wing and 3-point baskets.
In addition, Dwight Howard should see a reduction in minutes.
The Bucks are missing their leading scorer, Michael Redd, and top inside threat, Andrew Bogut. The lottery-bound Bucks are giving minutes to rookies Luc Richard Mbah a Moute and Joe Alexander along with non-scoring threat backup center Dan Gadzuric.
Orlando would like to stiffen its defense. The Magic surrendered 103 points to the Nets and 105 to the Knicks in their last two games. Previous to that, however, the Magic had allowed an average of 85 points in their last four games.
Guaranteed Plays Matchup: Oklahoma City at Portland Time: 10:05 PM EDT (Mon)
Play: Oklahoma City (+14 -110) Line Source: BET365 Posted on: April 13, 2009 @ 12:13:42 AM EDT
Portland is playing its fifth game in seven days and has a huge showdown matchup at home against Denver on Wednesday, the final day of the regular-season.
Oklahoma City is off an embarrassing 115-98 road loss to Milwaukee on Saturday. The loss was so one-sided, though, that Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and Jeff Green - the Thunder's three best players - all sat out the fourth quarter.
Expect a better effort tonight from the Thunder. Durant especially should be motivated. He had one of his worst games when the Trail Blazers embarrassed the Thunder in Oklahoma City earlier this month, winning 107-72.
Durant should be psyched competing against LaMarcus Aldridge, who also played college ball at Texas, and against the team that bypassed him in the draft to take Greg Oden with the No. 1 overall pick.
Oklahoma City coach Scott Brooks is coaching for his job. He knows his team has to produce a better effort than in its previous game.
The Thunder are usually tough in these situations, having covered 14 of the past 18 times as a road 'dog of 11 or more points. The backdoor is wide open for them in this matchup with the Blazers facing a far more important game on Wednesday.
Antony Dinero's Pick Pack NBA Daily Picks Premium Plays Matchup: Chicago at Detroit Time: 7:35 PM EDT (Mon)
Play: Chicago (+4 -110) Line Source: BETUS Posted on: April 13, 2009 @ 3:44:38 AM EDT
Detroit may win this game, but taking Chicago plus more than one possession is too good a wager to pass up given how these teams are moving in opposite directions. The Pistons are more focused on getting healthy for one last playoff run, and although avoiding the Cavs is ideal, they're not going to jeopardize guys like Rasheed Wallace and Kwame Brown, neither of whom is at 100 percent. Look for the Bulls athleticism to wind up being too much in a tight one. Back the Bulls.

Play: Under (220.5 -110) Line Source: BETUS Posted on: April 13, 2009 @ 4:17:01 AM EDT
The Grizzlies are wrapping up their home slate with a lifeless effort in L.A. and this quick turnaround against a Suns team intent on revenge. Memphis crushed an unmotivated Suns squad last week, and the Suns will want to give their fans their money's worth and take a little pride back from the Grizz kids by administering a supple beating here. Look for Memphis' offensive woes to continue as the Suns manage to play a lick of defense. Take Phoenix and the under.

Kevin Rogers's Pick Pack NBA Daily Picks Premium Plays Matchup: Charlotte at New Jersey Time: 7:35 PM EDT (Mon)
Play: Over (193.0 -110) Line Source: M Resort Posted on: April 12, 2009 @ 11:42:40 PM EDT
The Bobcats and Nets have nothing to play for except riding out the schedule, as the two teams hook up at the Izod Center tonight. Charlotte has hit the OVER in five of the past six, including Saturday in a 113-106 loss at Chicago. The Nets have gone OVER in 20 of 29 games with the total listed at 194.5 or less this season, including nine straight dating back to late January. Devin Harris is listed as questionable after missing the win over the Magic with a shoulder injury. The Nets proved they could score points without Harris, putting up 103 against Orlando, as five players besides Vince Carter scored in double-figures (Carter scored a game-high 27). This game should be played very loose, as both teams are more than capable of putting up near 100 points, which would help us clinch the OVER.

Play: Milwaukee (-3.0 -110) Line Source: PINNACLE Posted on: April 12, 2009 @ 11:42:40 PM EDT
The Magic have been playing awful as of late, and will be without two of their three best players tonight in Milwaukee, as the Bucks play their home finale. Rashard Lewis and Hedo Turkoglu are both hurt, as Lewis has tendinitis in his knee, while Turkoglu sprained his ankle in Orlando's ten-point loss at New Jersey on Saturday. Milwaukee has been struggling, as they dropped eight of nine, prior to a convincing win over Oklahoma City on Saturday, only their 33rd victory on the season. The Bucks will be playing with triple revenge, losing three times to the Magic this season, including a 26-point blowout at the Bradley Center back on March 18th. Orlando is playing their fifth game in seven days, and with the three-seed all wrapped up in the East, the Magic don't have much to play for over the final two regular season games. The Magic are a dog for a reason, and have nothing to gain from this game, while the Bucks would like to close out the season on a positive note. I'll lay the points with the Bucks to pick up win number 34.
