Job description:

A web content manager is responsible for the information that appears on company's websites. A web content manager will work closely with project teams, editors, developers and designers to coordinate the site content and make sure it caters to the needs of the target audience.

 

If you have good writing skills in English, good analytic thinking, are well organised and have interest to deal with other languages, then there could be opportunities for you.

 

Currently we support website networks in about 20 languages, mostly European ones. In this way, we deal with editors and translators from all over the world, on a daily basis.

 

We will do our best to teach you all the duties, listed below, and provide you the strongest assistance ever. Generally to say, all you would need to have is a deep analytic thinking ability, be creative, curious and have good knowledge of English.

 

 

Your duties could include:

taking a lead role in maintenance and development (contextual side) of the site

communicating with editing, marketing and design teams to plan and develop site content

using web content management systems to analyse website usage statistics

carrying out quality assurance checks on content

reporting technical problems to IT support staff

analyzing the internet markets

On-Page SEO (search engine optimization of the web content)

dealing with legal issues, such as copyright and data protection

 

The type of content you might work on could vary. As for now, we are developing a gaming product and a website network for making it popular then. Later there can be other markets and topics.

 

 

Requirements:

Whatever your background is, you would need previous experience of writing content in some form, although not necessarily online.

 

You do Not need specific IT skills for a management position, but you Do need to be a deep thinking and detailed person with good organisational skills, the ability to meet deadlines, good team working skills, an understanding of online writing issues, such as house style and content structure, an excellent grasp of English grammar, punctuation and spelling, attention to detail, for example when proofreading, the ability to give and receive constructive feedback on work.

 

Once you start working, you would be given in-house training covering:

house style

content management systems

policies and procedures

online research methods

copyright and data regulations

Need to have no less than 1 y. experience in area IT/computers/internet

We offer:

We are offering flexibility of working time, freedom in your activity, we would welcome a student, if she/he matched the requirements.

 

For the first 3 months we are offering 500 Euro per month. Afterwards we are going to increase the salary for at least 20% for the next months, but it can be higher, depending on the candidate.

 

 

Salary:

LTL 1700+
