The misery ends for England today as it is the final one day game and they

will attempt to avoid the first one day clean sweep loss at home.

 

I usually do not bet on something happening that has never happened before

so I tread warily in this game but I can't see, on current form and with

the team selected, how they can beat Australia.

The markets are either very wrong or I am today, and it is a worry as

I am normally fairly close with my prices but look at my ratings and compare

the betfair price. My ratings are the price I believe the team should be.

 

Tottenham - My rating 11.00 - price 8.00

Man City - My rating 15 - price 6.00

Blackburn - My rating 6.6 - price 5.3

 

The Wolves game with Fulham is spot on with my ratings but the other

three games are way out.

 

Based on them I would do the following trades.

 

Man Utd V Man City 1.30pm

Lay draw for £100 @ 4.4 and back £50 @ 8.8

Stop Loss: back £220 @ 2.00

 

Chelsea V Spurs 4pm The more I look at this the more I don't like it

so I am going to leave it alone. I may look at it later in the Live

trading room.

 

Everton V Blackburn 3pm.

Lay draw for £100 @ 3.65 and back £46.79 @ 7.8

Stop Loss: back £182.50 @ 2.00

I will not be trading out after the first goal, I think Arsenal will

win easily and will just lay the draw and if something happens that

requires me to exit then I will

 

Tomorrow we have the start of the Champions Trophy cricket from South Africa

and there will be some great opportunities to make money.

 

This is the top 8 sides in the world and every game will be great to trade.

 

I will check my records today but I think India have won the last 7 series

they have contested so i may be backing them to win this.

 

It is very early season in South Africa and the wickets will be fast and

bouncy and with some early morning starts we may be laying some teams

batting first. That is what killed Australia yesterday. Had Ponting won

the toss and sent England in, the result would have been reversed.

 

It was a great weekend in the Paltalk room with over 70 people chatting and

swapping stories of great victories and heart breaking defeats. One guy lost

£80 because he bet on a dog and forgot about it and forgot to place

the counter trade. there are hundreds of ways to lose money so be careful.

 

When you are at the computer, give it as much attention as when you are

driving a car.

 

I am in Warrington all this week doing training courses but the email

will come each day. Maybe the email replies will be a little slower.

the front page and the Arsenal game right under it so in my haste to

get to Warrington, I thought it was for last night! Sorry :-)

Cricket starts TODAY and we now have a game everyday for the next two weeks

and they all start at either 8.30am or 1.30pm so the 8.30 games I will

send out of an evening. Some days there are two games.

 

Today's game is South Africa and Sri Lanka. I am tipping SA on their

home soil. Sri Lanka may take some time to adjust to the bouncy pitches

there. However I am wary of their lack or recent matches and Sri Lanka

have been playing well and really want to win this.

 

So I am starting out small in the first game. Although I thing SA will

win in the end, I feel Sri Lanka will be shorter than the current price

of 2.80 so let's back them.
