Davydenko vs Johansson

 

Davydenko seems to be in very good form , i doubt that Johansson can take anything off him , he never was good on clay , so i expect a short match with Davydenko managing to finish it quick :

Safina big favourite here against Alona's younger sister which isn't as talented as her elder sister , and not even close to Safina.If Dinara doesn't start with big emotions and does her job well there won't be any problems in covering the spread .

Hewitt vs Mahut

 

I've been a little hesitant yesterday when i saw the match-up. Hewitt comes from an injury that almost made him loose Roland Garros , but i'm sure that if he thought there will be any chance that the injury would get worse he would have managed himself for his favourite tournament , Wimbledon . Mahut is just 3-8 on the clay of Roland Garros , those 3 wins coming in qualifiers , 8 years ago. So in the last 8 years Mahut lost his first match every year , 4 times loosing in straight sets , 4 times managing to win a set . But let's not forget that Hewitt is probably better than all of the opponents Mahut met in the last 8 years , he has a lot of patience and on clay that will be rewarded my Mahut's many unforced errors.

Also i believe he would like a short match if he wants to be prepared for a long tournament coming of an injury , so the best bet IMO is :

 

Hewitt to win 3-0 @ 3.00 partybets/gamebookers with 5 units

 

Schwank vs Granollers

 

What seems to be a 50-50 matchup i believe there is a little edge that we can get . Schwank is playing some great tennis even though he isn't at 100% phisically.Many tipsters think that he can't handle another match after the long 5 setter against Moya , which btw everybody thought he would loose. But if he managed Moya , i doubt he will have problems with Granollers.He already has a 1-0 H2H advantage over Granollers , and also his style gives him better chances to get easier points than Granollers.

Just for safety let's give up a little , and take smaller odds from bookies that give the money back if Schwank will retire , so :
