    Lockerz Dec. 31st Redemption (General)

     

    Kinda tired of the constant threads about the same subject matter. Hopefully this answers a few questions. Things that I may not have touched on could also be asked here. This is the unofficial FAQ created by a member of Lockerz. No copyright infringement intended.

     

     

    1. When was the redemption?

     

    The Lockerz General Redemption for December officially began on December 31st at 5:25 PM EST.

     

    2. Is there another wave of Redemption?

     

    No, there was only one wave of redemption. Unless there's another one planned as a complete surprise it looks like that was the only wave of redemption.

     

    3. HELP! I don't have a reciept from my prize redemption!!!

     

    Reciepts have not been e-mailed as of yet. Its not that prizes have all been cancelled. Lockerz will get around to it in a matter of time. Keep in mind that redemption was the day of New Year's eve. Reciepts should be coming around soon enough.

     

    4. I redeemed a prize and I got my points refunded

     

    As far as I know, that is a display glitch. Everyone who redeemed has the same problem so its not you alone. Keep in mind that this is a totally new way of redemption. In a way this was a "test", not to say that this hasn't been tested already. Its something that will be worked on and improved but I'm almost certain that changes in your ptz will be in effect within the next few days. All information is stored in the database.

     

    5. I tried redeeming my prize but it took me back to the prize selection page!

     

    This was probably the only major problem from this redemption. Some items took you back to the prize selection page. It wasn't because you cheated ... or because Lockerz doesn't like you. It seemed like a technical difficulty. Thus it was pointless to constantly keep clicking into prizes.

     

    6. Why didn't they tell us the time of the redemption?

     

    Remember the z-list redemption? That didn't work out too well. So instead of giving out the exact date and time of the redemption they used a different strategy. They gave out the date (between two days). The time was a complete surprise.

     

    7. Will ptz prizes go up X4 after this redemption?

     

    Its likely. At this point of time though its not certain. Lockerz is closer than ever to the launch and the full site expansion. We can expect a notice of the launch of the full site and further information on how ptz will change according to prizes.

     

    8. When is the next redemption?

     

    That still has yet to be announced. Check your locker and the Lockerz Facebook for further information.

     

    9. Was this past redemption a success?

     

    Any time a site can make more and more people happy it is a success. In this case it was a giant step towards further success on Lockerz. There are still a few flaws that have to be worked out, but for the most part this past redemption was very successful. Kudos Lockerz.

    Pranašauja, kad šiandien bus 22:00h antroji banga. Order Receipt ilgai reikia laukti, nes siunčiama rankiniu būdu, taigi buvo paleista visiškai kita sistema "PTZ Place", tai turbūt nespėjo padaryti, kad auto siųstu nes būtų dar keletą dienų užtrukę. . :)

    Tikekimes viska gausim, taip pat ir prizus. :)

    Anksčiau žmonės greitai gaudavo receipt el. laiškus. O dabar negauna, buvo nemažai bug'ų, kad į pagrindinį metą, o rodo, kad yra prekė. Užsitraukė Lockerz'ei žmonių "nemalonę".

    Thanks for your email and for taking part in the December PTZ place

    redemption. If you redeemed a prize, congrats! Receipts are on a

    delay, and you should receive it within the next 24 hours via email.

     

    We've added thousands of new prizes and because the redemptions are so

    popular, many of these items become unavailable due to huge demand. We

    want you to know you'll have many more chances to redeem in the future

    and your PTZ will be yours to use for twelve months. When the site

    launches in early 2010, we'll be adding many more ways to earn PTZ

    prizes, and instead of being stocked on a periodic basis, PTZ Place

    will have prizes available every day, all day. We're sure, in the

    future, you'll receive a prize you love, and we look forward to

    presenting you more ways to earn and spend on LOCKERZ.

     

    We have taken our members' feedback and ideas into consideration as we

    have continued to improve

    the redemption experience. For this redemption, we added a new

    microsite that can handle

    the heavy traffic volume of redemption, and made it our top priority

    to repair all PTZ issues for our

    members. We added the most requested games--and kept the most popular

    prizes from previous redemptions--all without raising any prices.
