Cilic has been priced as a big favourite in this match but i wouldn't be suprised if Roger Vasselin pushed him all the way in this match!

 

Vasselin is a very handy player on grass, he has a decent serve and is good at the net, last week he played well at Surbiton grass even

 

Cilic is a talanet but not the complete package just yet and i can't see him winning this in 3 sets.

Troicki - Lapentti

 

Lapentti is an experienced veteran, he is playing in good form this year, he has a decent record at Wimbledon and he will be confident as he goes in to this match

 

Troicki has a big talent but he is yet to really start beliving in him self and prove that he is a big time player who can play well on continuous basis.

 

Because of the above reasons i think a medium bet is value at these odds

Cohen Aloro - Hsieh

 

Bookies got the odds wrong in this match. I haven't seen these two play before but just by looking at the stats it is clear that Hsieh is a bigger talent that Cohen and she is more comfortable on fast surface such as grass

 

Cohen is in decent form this year but only on clay, her hard court games this year have been relatively insignificant whilst Hsieh has built up good momentum on fast surface this year.

 

The head to head from 6 years ago is 1-0 to Hsieh, i will go for the talanted youngster to win this match as well

Tipsarevic - Ascione

 

I can't remember many matches where Tipsarevic has won easily and in straight sets, especialy in the first round of grand slams.

 

Ascione is the sought of player that can give problems to anybody on grass. He plays very direct and has a decent serve and has beaten Tipsarevic before on a very fast court

 

I think 33.5 games is a relatively low total and i will have a go

Tursunov - Mahut

 

I wish i had Tipped Tursunov yesturday when his odds were around 2.1 mark

 

He is no doubt the favourite in this match. Quiet simply he is a lot better player than Mahut. On top of that Mahut is in realy bad slump this year and he is getting beaten even on grass which is his strongest surface.

 

Tursunov has a good record on grass and he also has a good record versus big servers such as Mahut

 

However Tursunov did retire last week from Nottingham, i am sure he will be ready for this match but just in case bet with a bookie that will refund the stake in case of a retirement

Pashanski - Eston

 

Again i can't understand the odds in this match up.

 

Who is Eaton? he is ranked 600 in the world and has achieved absolutely nothing so far! he is yet to show a special talent and prove that he can be in top 100 one day.

 

Pashanski is a clay court player but he is still way over under estimated here. He is a player that moves very well around the court and who can hit the ball hard and flat. I remember when he played in Wimbledon few years ago and took a set of Agassi and gave him a very good match.

 

Odds should be 1.8 Pashanski so i see big value

Mathieu - Hernandez

 

Mathieu had fantastic run on wimbledon lasy year,where he defeated Stepanek,Ferrer and Ljubicic losing only one set. Powerfull groundstrokes with reliable serve will be too much for pure claycourter such as Hernandez.

 

Oscar had solid RG behind him. Still he is on grass like fish on the dry.He lost all 3 games on grass in his carrer and he never hide that grass doesnt suits him at all.

 

I predict one way traffic here and Hernandez wont get more than 3 games in any of sets.

 

Unibet have same line,Pinny will be out soon.

Pashanski - Eaton

 

Young prospect from Britain will surely be backed by crowd as England once again dont have many players in main draw. Eaton get through qualies despite hard draw. He defeated Patience,Kukushkin and Minar. Also last week he defeated Garci Lopez in Notingham quals which suggest that he is in good form and with nice serving he can surely overcome claycourters like Pashanski.

 

Boris Pashanski dont like to play on grass. He lost all 4 matches on grass in his career,winning only one set from 10 played!!!(against Aggasi). His defensive approach surely wont bring him any good,especially in best of 5 match.

 

Eaton will control match and surely get numerous number of break opportunities.

 

I predict easy 3-0 or eventually 3-1 win for UK boy.
