Big game on the Eastern conference with Boston hosting the Pistons as a 7 points favorite in here, which in my view is just too much considering the value of both teams. As I've said before, the Celtics aren't at the same level at last season. Their defense continue to be phenomenal, as they are 2nd on the league with 90.7 ppg and the best team in FG% allowed with just 39.9% FG! However, it's on the offense where the Celtics are struggling. It seems weird, but they are the worst team of the league in TO's, with 16.8 TO/game and they are also the worst team of the league in the A/TO ratio of 1.21! Of course, that hasn't prevented the Celtics from keep winning, as they are 10-2 this season, but the problem it has been on winning big. The team is 1-4 ATS on their last 5 games and they have been struggling to win, actually their only cover in these five games was against the Knicks, where they were favored by 8 points and won the game by 110-101, in a late cover. The team knows how to finish the games down the stretch, but they haven't been able to blowout their opponents and that becomes an highlight when the oddmakers ask them to do that against their biggest conference rivals, the Pistons. 

Detroit is a different team with Iverson, but they aren't that "bad" that they should be a 7 points underdog against a strong team, who isn't at their best right now. After a bad start, the Pistons recovered and if you noticed, they defeated the two hottest teams of the league lately: the Lakers and the last night Cleveland. Allen Iverson is getting used to this system and the team will be fired up today. The Celtics easily defeated the Pistons at Detroit two weeks ago, on the second game of Iverson with the Pistons, but since then, the Pistons have improved. If we look to that game, we see that it will basically impossible for that to happen once again today. Rip Hamilton shot 0-8 FG, Allen Iverson shot 4-11 FG and Sheed Wallace shot 4-17 FG. That gives us a total of 8-36 FG from the big three of the Pistons! 22% FG!!! These three players are coming from a good performance last night (22-39 56.5% FG) and today I expect them to continue their good moment. 

The fact that this is a back to back game for the Pistons doesn't scare me, I remember that last week the Pistons played on the road at Golden State and won in a ballgame and then, in the following day, they defeated the Lakers without any problems. I like Detroit in here, I expect them to be highly competitive and to make this game a ballgame. I wouldn't be surprised if the Pistons pull away an outright win tonight, as these Celtics aren't at their best right now. Take Detroit in here.

The handicap is high on this way just because Detroit played and won last night against Cleveland and Boston had a free night, but so the players are phisically ready to play two match in a row and this in my opinion will not be the key of the match.
On the regular season and on this kind of match usually the team will join between the last 10-5 minutes on the same line and on a very close result and having a solid talent rosters and +7.5 points is decidedly a huge vantage to play 10 minutes at Boston.

hmmm,jeigu tikrai garnetas nelos tai tada mastau apie boston under 96 :) nesitiki kazkaip kad jie tiek primes pries pistons ir dar be garneto :)
