Certainly the better player on this surface , Safina is an underdog even though she comes after an amazing 12 matches in a row and after a season where she didn't loose any matches on red clay.In this 12-0 run she has beaten players like Henin , Serena , Dementieva ( twice ) , Sharapova and Kuznetsova , so you can't say she had easy players.

On the other hand Ivanovic is 9-2 this season with loses to Dementieva and Pironkova , also she didn't meet players as good as Safina , at RG , her only problem was Jankovic which should have beaten her , but she was too tired to finish the match .

Ivanovic will play her 3rd grand slam final in less than a year period , she lost both , so she must have some emotional problems going into this match.

Also Safina leads 1-0 H2H on clay so i believe the odds should have been closer to 1.70-2.30

For today i'll take Roddick , who on this surface should be better than Nadal , his serve , like Karlovic should take him easily into tiebreaks , and even though he doesn't have the best backhand in the tour , he has a good sliced backhand that should keep the point in play , not like Karlovic.

 

So believing that he will have a good service day , i will take :
