Expekte kofas 1,91. Įvertinčiau 5/10. Analizės čia nerašysiu, nemanau, kad to reik. Sekmės.

Boston had two games where they toyed with their opponents, while going easy on defense and winning the games on the offense. That's why they scored 122 points in back to back games. But when they are in front of an opponent which can in theory beat them, the whole story is different and the Celtics go back to basis, which means: defense! That's why Portland scored 78 points against them or Orlando scored just 88 points. I expect the Celtics to come back to their aggressive defense that every opponent fears. The truth is that this is a back to back for Boston, as they destroyed Washington on the road last night, but the team rested all players and the fact is that Boston is 6-1 Under in their last 7 back to back games.

 

Boston is also 20-9 Under after scoring 100 points or more in two games in a row over the last two seasons and today they will face the Hornets, which are also in a good moment (7-1 in their last 8 games). And their key for that has been their defense. In their 7 wins, they allowed just 90.2 ppg to their opponents and their only defeat (vs Portland), they allowed 101 points. We can also say that the team is now better on the offense and that's a fact, as they just didn't score 100 points or more twice during that run. However, I remember that they played against the Thunder twice, the Clippers, the Grizzlies and the Bobcats during that span, so the surprise would be if they had struggled to score against those lowly teams. But things will be different tonight. The Hornets is 7-1 Under while playing on the road in the last two seasons, when the line is 191 points or lower, a clear sign the team plays some tough defense on their road trips. They are also 4-1 Under in their last 5 games as a road underdog.

 

I believe this will be an ugly game, with both teams showing that they are playing very well on the defensive end. I've found a powerful trend that even though it is hard to understand has a lot of logic: All teams are 27-6 Under since 1996 after a huge blowout by 30 or more points, after leading their previous game by 15 or more points at half time. The public is 80% on the over in here and these teams are coming from big wins in their last game against lowly teams. Today everything will be different, as this game will be extremely physical. Take the under in here.
