The Braves rallied to win with Kawakami earning the victory while recording an impressive eight K's through six complete innings. Of course, Kawakami is no ordinary rookie, as he's had plenty of success in Japan. In fact, he's won more than 100 games over there, along with a couple of major awards. Note that he had a 2.30 ERA last year with 112 ks in 117 innings. He has enough stuff to beat the Fish and it always favors the pitcher when they've never faced each other and he has an akward delivery to the plate.
