Supervision Department that e-gold has been

struck from the Nevis register of companies.

During the time period indicated in the notice e-gold

changed resident agents following the death of its

prior agent. It appears that with the transition either

notice to pay was not received by the correct office,

or was not acted upon when received. In either

case, payment was not made and as such it appears

e-gold was removed from the register of Nevis

companies.

"Unfortunately, e-gold was not alerted to this problem,

and only became aware of it late last week with the

e-mail traffic many of our users also saw. We are

taking immediate action to make the necessary

payments and restore e-gold to the registry of Nevis

companies. We believe this will be rectified within

the next few days and do not see it as a concern

for e-gold users."

E-Gold Limited was incorporated in July 1999 under the Nevis Business Corporation Ordinance 1984 (NBCO). However, it was subsequently found not to be in good standing and was struck from the register of companies on July 31, 2003 for non-payment of fees, as required by s.99 of the NBCO. E-Gold Limited has not applied to the Registrar to be restored to the register. Therefore, it is not on the register of companies in Nevis and as such we advise that persons viewing this site or proposing to do business with E-Gold Limited should exercise great caution."
